A Journey Of Discovery

Exploring God’s World And Your Place In It

A refuge for learning

Welcome to Rivendell School, where discovery is at the heart of everything we do. We are a Christ-centered, relational community, guiding students as they explore God’s world and prepare for a life of purpose and service.

A home for adventurers

Inspired by Tolkien’s Rivendell—a place of rest, wisdom, and preparation for great journeys—our school serves as a ‘last homely house’ for young adventurers. Here, students consider who they are, what they love, and what they’re called to do in the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Group of children dressed in historical costumes performing on stage with a backdrop of Big Ben clock tower and London building silhouette.
A group of young girls, most wearing school uniforms, are smiling and hugging each other outside in a playground area. Some girls are making playful faces, and others are smiling broadly. In the background, there are more children and a brick building wall.

Imagine

Learning comes alive as we engage the imagination and invite students to enter a story greater than themselves.

Belong

Your involvement isn’t just welcome, it is essential. Together we nurture growth and foster a sense of belonging.

Consider

Awakening of minds and hearts through rich conversations and careful reflection.

Discover

Equipping Adventurers to think deeply, live compassionately, and act courageously as they explore God’s world and their place in it.

Wonder

We provoke questions and delight in pursuing answers together, so that students experience the joy of learning.

The setting appears to be a classroom or workshop, with large windows in the background and other people working at tables.
