Field trips enrich our classroom curriculum and enhance a student’s concrete understanding of God’s world. Our field trips are coordinated with the unit studies and include visits to the Smithsonian museums, Discovery Theater, the Kennedy Center youth performances, the National Zoo, and many other cultural and educational events in the Washington Metropolitan area.
"You get to see a lot of beautiful things in nature and the chaperones are really nice.... You get to learn a lot of stuff you didn't know about plants, like at the Botanic Gardens, and animals, at the Zoo. You learn about how they were created by God."
- Sam, Rivendell Student
